The Sound Shore Chorale invites all singers to join them in performing gorgeous classical music in their Sunday afternoon concert on May 6, 3pm at the New Rochelle Public Library. Conductor Richard Slade will lead rehearsals on Mondays at 7:30pm (March 26 through April 30) in New Rochelle.
Selections include: Bach’s, Dona Nobis Pacem; Brahms’, How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place; Faure’s, Cantique de Jean Racine; Handel’s, Zadok the Priest; Hadyn’s The Heavens are Telling; Lewandowski’s, Hallelujah; Mendelssohn’s, He Watching Over Israel; Mozart’s, Lacrimosa; Puccini’s, Humming Chorus (Madama Butterfly); Purcell’s The Bell Anthem; Sullivan’s, The Long Day Closes, and Verdi’s, Va Pensiero.
